I am a work in progress, forever learning through challenges that life throws my way..............
Hi, I'm Wendy and definitely a work in progress!!!
I live in a small seaside town on the East coast with my wonderful husband who is very much a widow to my crafts, especially if I have an event coming up! We have 4 wonderful children between us and 2 smashing grandchildren along with a nutty dog that we found through a rescue. From an early age I have always loved to fiddle about with stuff and try new things - being creative with my clothes, painting my bedroom (when my parents allowed!), or making something with whatever I could find in my dad’s garden shed, sometimes it would work, sometimes it didn’t but that never put me off trying.

I love getting creative with my grandchildren, making pictures out of bits and bobs they pick up from the woods, trying to make a car ramp out of a cardboard box (as requested by my grandson) making ragdolls (as requested by my granddaughter) and felting soap for gifts for their mum and dad.

I had heard of needle felting a long time before I tried it, why I waited so long I have no idea because I just love it! I love the feel and texture of the different types of fluff, I love the sound of the crunch as the needle stabs the fluff (a bit weird maybe??) and I love the way the fluff really decides what its going to be. I can spend hours creating what I have in mind, trying it this way or that, until I’m completely happy with the way it’s turned out – if that is possible ha-ha. My work is a real labour of love where I’m constantly learning and having fun.
